Significant soft tissue swelling is also noted. Are your spidey senses tingling? Why? Remember that timing is a crucial aspect of any history involving injury. If it just does not make sense, you need to consider non-accidental trauma

Wouldn't this injury cause severe pain immediately? Would you also be concerned about ipsilateral femoral neck fracture and/or AVN?
